IMPACT WORSHIP

HomeImpact Worship Team

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:23–24

CULTIVATING A LIFE OF WORSHIP

Worship is more than singing songs. We were created to live a life of worship, offering ourselves to God as a living sacrifice. Jesus ushered in a new era where worship is not a ritual but a lifestyle.

The time is now! God is seeking true worshippers who worship Him in spirit and truth! Worshipping God in spirit and truth is something that draws us to God. The goal of our Impact Worship team is, therefore, to worship God first, in spirit and truth. To always give Him our very best, to give our love with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. In our personal lives, but also in church when we gather. Second, to teach the church to worship God in spirit and truth.

THE POWER OF WORSHIP

Worship has always been more than music or emotion: it’s a weapon, a declaration of faith, and a doorway into God’s presence. Throughout Scripture, we see that when God’s people worship, He moves.

David understood this deeply. Long before he became king, he worshiped with his harp in the fields, and even in battle, his heart remained fixed on God. His worship brought peace where there was torment. Even Saul’s troubled spirit found rest when David played.

At Jericho, worship wasn’t about instruments or lyrics but about obedience and faith. The Israelites didn’t fight with swords: they lifted up a shout of praise, and the impenetrable walls fell. Their victory came not by strength but by surrender.

Then in the prison of Philippi, Paul and Silas showed us that worship is powerful even in the darkest place. Beaten and chained, they prayed and sang hymns at midnight. Their praise shook the foundations of the prison, opened doors, and set captives free.

True worship doesn’t depend on our circumstances; it’s about praising God in the midst of them. It silences the enemy, breaks chains, and invites the presence of God into impossible situations.
